Husein – jedyny Palestyńczyk na izraelskim rainbow gathering na Wzgórzach Golan. Pełen radości tańczył w rytm pięknej, bliskowschodniej muzyki, którą graliśmy z resztą ludzi. Słońce prażyło, ale w cieniu można było rozkoszować się życiem w całej pełni!

Every evening, right in front of my tent, I had this beautiful view of the setting sun and the Sea of Galilee down in the valley. Everyday the people stayed in silence and watched the beautiful performance of the sun and clouds, surrounded by the sounds of coyotes, which only in the darkness were brave enough to get out of caves and sing.

M’hamid el Ghizlane, Morocco, 2009.

Few hours after the heavy sandstorm in M’hamid el Ghizlane, oasis on the edge of the desert in south Morocco. The air was still full of sand dust. You could feel the sand in your hair, ears, nose. It was grinding in your teeth. But in the night the rain came and cleared the atmosphere.

They came early in the morning. More or less 50 people with dark skin, dressed very colorfully. They came to take a train to Vaser valley. They came with the bags which included everything they had. Everything they needed for life. Except for money.

They entered the train and went away towards Karpaty mountains to start a new life.
